WHO WE ARE

We're a tight-knit group here at Cycle City. Guided by bike-mechanic-turned-shop-owner, we are all passionate about bikes. Together, we have nearly 60 years of bike shop experience. And you will pretty much see the same old faces working here each time you visit the shop.

Since 1995, Cycle City has happily been located in a beautiful historic building across the street from Lincoln Park in Alameda.

We receive a good amount of word-of-mouth referrals from our current customers, and for this, we are very thankful. So, THANK YOU!!

Our goal is to provide good customer service by guiding you with regard to the proper size bicycle and the right equipment, and fixing your bike correctly the first time.

FREE LIFETIME ADJUSTMENT

To ensure that your bike is at its best, Cycle City offers free lifetime adjustments on your new bike. This covers all of your general bicycle adjustments, as well as safety inspections.

He’s a local, and started exploring the East Bay on his bicycle in the mid 80’s. David started repairing bicycles in 1991, raced mountain bikes in the early 90’s, rode a fixed gear in the mid 90’s, and toured much of North America Summer ’99. He was service manager at Cycle City from ’00 -‘02, then moved out of the area. Came back to work the sales floor from ’08 -‘10. He started his current stint at Cycle City in August 2014. Your happiness is his job. “Happy trails.”
